The striking, timber-clad holiday home is in the picturesque coastal village of Bamburgh, on the Northumberland coast. Sleeping six guests and two pups, it’s the ideal retreat for large families and groups of friends. The woof-welcoming beach is just 400 metres away, and you’ll have easy access to some truly breathtaking coastal walks. In the evenings, enjoy al fresco meals in your sunny, fully-enclosed garden.
Leave your coats and dog leads in the entrance hall, and head into the welcoming lounge. Snuggle up on the inviting corner sofa with a good book, whilst Rover and Fido toast their paws by the wood burner, or curl up in the armchair to watch a film on the Smart TV. Glass doors open into the bright kitchen/diner, where you’ll find ample space for the dog beds, as well as a large dining table to seat everyone and a breakfast bar for perching at with a morning coffee. On a summer’s day, throw open the doors to the garden, so the pups can potter in and out. Just off the kitchen is a handy utility room. The three bedrooms, along with the family bathroom, are upstairs. The south-facing garden is a real suntrap, and is fully enclosed for your waggy-tailed friends. You’ll have a choice of areas for al fresco dining, and there’s a large lawn for the hounds to play on.
The beautiful beach at Bamburgh welcomes furry beach-goers all year. Spend your days building sandcastles, splashing in the sea, or set off on the 3-mile beachside walk to Seahouses. The imposing Norman castle overlooking the beach dominates the skyline. Although your hairy sidekicks aren’t allowed in the castle itself, they can still have fun exploring the castle grounds, aviation museum and Victorian stables.
