You’ll be near some fantastic paw-friendly beaches, including Beadnell Bay (4.5 miles), and the popular coastal village of Seahouses is 5 miles away.
The stylish barn conversion is decorated in tones to reflect the surrounding landscape and original features and vibrant soft furnishings add character to each room. The light-filled lounge is a sociable space, where you can recline on the colourful sofas and warm your toes and paws by the wood burner. The sleek kitchen/diner has everything you need to cater for the group, and has a large, wooden table to seat everyone. An inviting double bedroom and a bathroom with an elegant free-standing bath complete the ground floor. The king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room is upstairs, along with a quirky mezzanine twin room with low ceilings, a glass front, and theatre-style curtains. Four-legged guests will love the outdoor space, which is fully enclosed and has plenty of sunny spots for dozing. There’s also gorgeous, soft outdoor seating and an array of pretty flowers.
Heading south, you’ll soon reach the quaint National Trust village of Low Newton-by-the-Sea (2.5 miles). Potter amongst its cream-washed cottages, refuel in the traditional village pub, and enjoy gentle strolls along the paw-friendly, sandy beach. There’s also a popular circular walk from here to Craster, via Dunstanburgh Castle. Another excellent woof-friendly beach can be found at Beadnell Bay (4.5 miles), where you and your salty seadog can also take wildlife-watching boat trips from the harbour.
