Step inside this red brick cottage and kick off your walking boots in the vestibule – there’s plenty of space for your outdoor gear. Walk through the brick doorway into the welcoming open-plan living room, diner and kitchen. Head to the sleek kitchen area and whip up some dinner for your loved ones. Enjoy dinner in the gorgeous mid-century-modern dining area. Alternatively, head outside and dine alfresco on the patio. The generous lawned garden is enclosed, so your pups can safely potter around while you dine. After dinner, retire to the sumptuous living area and slip onto a sofa while your pups stretch out in front of the wood burner. When it’s time for bed, you’ll find two elegant bedrooms upstairs.
As this property is hidden away in Holkham Park, you have a whole host of long walks available from your doorstep. Please keep your pups on-lead though as there are free-roaming deer in the park. Check out the lovely mile-long nature trail that runs around the lake. Or head to Holkam’s National Nature Reserve to discover one of the most unspoiled beaches in the county (4 miles). Dogs are welcome all year round, except for in the zone in front of the beach huts.
