Nestled in spectacular countryside, this delightful 18th-century barn conversion is a true Welsh gem. With rustic exposed brickwork and timeless timber frames, if you''re seeking a cosy hideaway or a romantic retreat, this enchanting abode promises a peaceful and picturesque stay for you and a couple of canine companions.

As you step into the characterful lounge, stunning views of the glorious countryside are framed by large patio doors that lead out to the garden. Exposed wooden beams and low ceilings add to the cosy atmosphere. Plush seating invites you to sink in and unwind while Rover snoozes at your feet. The adjoining kitchen/diner is a light-filled room with farmhouse-style dining table and chairs, and all the necessary amenities to whip up a feast. A handy utility room completes the ground floor. Upstairs, the exposed timber frames continue to weave their magic in both the double and twin bedrooms. The sloping ceilings add to the old-world feel, while the far-reaching views provide a beautiful rural backdrop. The contemporary family bathroom is also located upstairs. Outside, find a large, securely fenced south-facing patio area that overlooks the fields and the Kerry Ridgeway. Here, you can savour a delicious meal in the open air and fire up the BBQ for a flavourful feast. Two gates from the patio lead onto a spacious yard that provides access to a handy lean-to area, where you''ll find more garden furniture.

The area in and around the charming town of Newtown has a rich and fascinating history. As you stroll through the streets of Newtown, you will come across a series of information plaques that offer a glimpse into the lives of the town''s past inhabitants. If you''re looking to delve even deeper into the history of the area, a visit to Gregynog Hall and Garden (5 miles) is a must, where pups on leads are welcome to explore the grounds.
