Property code: OC-MYNACH

With breathtaking sea views and rolling countryside all around, this traditional Welsh cottage makes a perfect rural retreat for up to six guests and their two beloved pups. Lovingly restored to blend original features with contemporary comforts, this three-bedroom cottage offers open-plan living space, a garden with a fire pit, and direct access to the Llyn Coastal Path.

Enter via the hallway, where there’s room to remove coats and shoes and rub down sandy paws before heading into the welcoming living spaces. Prepare delicious meals in the stylish kitchen beneath the beamed ceiling, while the pups snooze in front of the wood burner in the impressive inglenook fireplace. Three comfortable bedrooms are available (two super-king-size zip-and-links and a twin), while you let sleeping dogs lie on their beds downstairs, dreaming of the adventures yet to come. An impressive bathroom with free-standing bath, and a separate chic shower room complete the internal layout. On a sunny afternoon, spark up the BBQ and dine alfresco while your four-legged friends play in the lovely lawned garden. Afterwards, gather around the fire pit with a glass of wine or head inside to relax on the comfortable sofas in the lounge, your dogs snoozing at your feet.

Grab a ball and set out for morning walkies along the Llyn Coastal Path, which passes by the front of the property, or head to remote Porth Towyn beach, though note there are some seasonal dog restrictions here. The small village of Tudweiliog is just 0.8 miles away with a shop and a pub, while the larger towns of Nefyn and Morfa Nefyn are 5.5 and 4 miles away respectively.

The cottage was superb, renovated to a high standard , modern but managing to incorporate the traditional style and tastefully furnished with everything one would need. Loved the framed photo art on the walls of the wave (at nearby Hells Mouth we believe) and how the shot was taken. Only real issue we had was with the toilet seats , they are cRead morelip on ones which make them easier to clean but they kept coming off and potentially you could slide off which would be a problem for someone with mobility issues . Hopefully this is something that can be sorted out though . The views and location are incredible, with easy access to the local shop and pub and a stunning beach reached across the neighbouring fields. We are booking again for next year. Hide

An absolutely beautiful house with a short walk to the beach. Old farm building close by that are not currently in use. Easy to get to and close to some wonderful pubs and restaurants.

A wonderful stay that accommodated not only 6 people but 3 dogs!- the boot room meant we could clean muddy paws whilst keeping the home spotless, it was super clean ,comfy and welcoming, with all that you needed for a great stay. Loved the fact that the floors and kitchen were so easy to clean, great location with walks to coast. I would recommend Read morethis and look forward to returning. Hide

On arrival it wqas dissapointing to see that the grass was long and weeds covered the path. This Cottage has lots of potential but still has someway to go before this is achieved. Decoration had been done crudely ( what looked like a rushed job ) with what looked like only an undercoat of paint on the walls. There were huge cracks along the staircaRead morese and these as well as the painting will only look more shabby as the time goes on in what I believe to be a newly listed property. Further additions need to be made in order to make the property more homely i.e rugs on the floor would have made it feel warmer and some more pictures on the walls. Hide

The cottage is in a stunning location and is comfortable and generally well equipped. The downstairs accomodation is excellent. We were disappointed at the lack of storage in the bedrooms. Two bedrooms had a hanging rail but there were no drawers at all so nowhere to put underwear, t-shirts, cosmetics or small items. This could easily be solved by Read morethe addition of a chest of drawers, or even small chests of drawers as bedside cabinets. Bedroom 3 was very disappointing with no storage whatsoever. It was also very difficult to access this room as the door would not open past the bed. We also thought the 100 charge for the dogs was excessive, as nothing was provided for them for this charge. We have mostly paid 25 per dog as opposed to the 50 charged here. Hide
