Explore West Wales and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park from your base in a charming and homely property, with unobstructed sea views from the glass balcony and living area. Spend your days exploring the surrounding beaches and enjoying long scenic dog walks and return to your home-away-from-home for a glass of wine while watching the sun set over the water.

This two-storey getaway sleeps up to six human guests and one furry companion. The upside-down layout with two bedrooms on the ground floor and a bathroom means that the living space upstairs takes full advantage of the spectacular views. On the first floor is the open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner with a well-organised kitchen with sparkling surfaces, a dining table and a cosy seating area. Beneath the wooden beamed ceiling are two comfortable sofas, armchairs, a TV and glass doors that lead out to the balcony with garden furniture.

Benefit from a central location in Saundersfoot, less than 500 metres from the beach which is dog-friendly between October and April, plus the shops, pubs and cafes around you. If you’re visiting in the summer months, take Fido for a splash at Monkstone Beach (2 miles) or Wiseman’s Bridge Beach (1.5 miles). For a wholesome day out, head to National Trust Colby Woodland Garden (5.5 miles), where you can explore 8 acres of woodland, wildflowers and walled gardens. If you’re feeling adventurous, from the harbour (less than 0.5 miles) there is a canine-welcoming sea safari for Fido to experience an unforgettable day. Further south is the town of Tenby (3.5 miles) – the castle is worth sniffing out and you’ll find excellent views from Castle Hill.

The house was a perfect spot for a weekend away. Coast is down the road in walking distance, an ideal restaurant for a special occasion. The beds were comfortable and the view is spectacular from the front room. Lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from and a selection of local shops in case you need supplies.

The property is in an excellent location - just a few minutes walk to the beach and a variety of shops and excellent eating places. The property is spacious, the view is fantastic and the beds are comfortable.

Overall we had a lovely stay at the property, and would be happy to stay again. A couple of very minor gripes, we felt the downstairs bathroom was a bit tired. One or two items on arrival such as cleaning spray, washing up liquid and a soap or two I think for a very small cost would make a difference to first impressions. We could not locate a grilRead morel pan for the cooker, or the orange recycle bag. So I took recyclables to the village. Not a big deal but the orange bag was referred to in the pack. The microwave buttons were worn but we figured it out. These are all minor things that could easily be rectified, and would not stop us staying again, the location and facilities and view and access were all exemplary. Hide

This is our third stay in this property this year due to family in the area, this time there was broken glass on the kitchen floor on arrival and a dirty tea towel- only place mats for 4 not 6 and not as many glasses as last time no one washing up liquid. Damp from en-suite shower is getting worse. Fantastic location and views. Cold downstairs due Read moreto thermostat upstairs. Hide

The Property felt damp on arrival especially the downstairs bedrooms. I would have expected the property to have been heated/aired before our arrival at this time of year. I reported the damp present on the inside walls surrounding the bedroom window. Lovely property in a great location. A few areas of the property need attention. My main bug bear was the ill fitting bed sheets that were too small for the bed and therefore slightly uncomfortable. But that's a small issue and we will possibly rebook the property in future in the main due to it being dog friendly in a fab location.
