Explore West Wales and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park from your base in a charming and homely property, with unobstructed sea views from the glass balcony and living area. Spend your days exploring the surrounding beaches and enjoying long scenic dog walks and return to your home-away-from-home for a glass of wine while watching the sun set over the water.
This two-storey getaway sleeps up to six human guests and one furry companion. The upside-down layout with two bedrooms on the ground floor and a bathroom means that the living space upstairs takes full advantage of the spectacular views. On the first floor is the open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner with a well-organised kitchen with sparkling surfaces, a dining table and a cosy seating area. Beneath the wooden beamed ceiling are two comfortable sofas, armchairs, a TV and glass doors that lead out to the balcony with garden furniture.
Benefit from a central location in Saundersfoot, less than 500 metres from the beach which is dog-friendly between October and April, plus the shops, pubs and cafes around you. If you’re visiting in the summer months, take Fido for a splash at Monkstone Beach (2 miles) or Wiseman’s Bridge Beach (1.5 miles). For a wholesome day out, head to National Trust Colby Woodland Garden (5.5 miles), where you can explore 8 acres of woodland, wildflowers and walled gardens. If you’re feeling adventurous, from the harbour (less than 0.5 miles) there is a canine-welcoming sea safari for Fido to experience an unforgettable day. Further south is the town of Tenby (3.5 miles) – the castle is worth sniffing out and you’ll find excellent views from Castle Hill.
