For tail-waggingly good hikes through wild and rugged terrain. Head a similar distance in the other direction and you’ll reach the village of Bere Ferrers with a traditional pub. Dartmoor National Park is just 6.5 miles away, while the majestic southern coastline is within easy reach (16 miles).
