Enjoy a stay in this characterful and contemporary cottage in the Yorkshire Dales which is great for small families or couples in search of adventure with their canines by their side. It’s a beautiful base with wonderful design and original features throughout, where you can unwind after adventures in this fantastic destination. For a fascinating day out, head to Tupgill Park to stroll through the maze of landscaped gardens and trails which are sure to get tails wagging.

Seamlessly blending a mixture of modern style and original features, this cottage is truly charming. As you enter the property through the rear door there is a handy hallway with space to hang your coats and take off your shoes before moving through to the elegant kitchen/diner, featuring stylish cupboards which contrast against the natural wood beams and white walls. For meal times there is a table seating four positioned to face a window with far-reaching views of the countryside. For the colder months of the year, switch on the electric fire and get comfy with your canine by your side in the social space. Completing the ground floor is a tasteful single bedroom boasting exposed beams, as well as a downstairs bathroom featuring both a shower and a bathtub, perfect for a long, relaxing soak at the end of the day. Upstairs is the cosy living room furnished with pastel tones with a lovely sofa and footstool, as well as a cuddle chair. There is a TV for entertainment and magnificent views out of the window from the lounge making for a great social space. A further single bedroom lies on the first floor alongside a traditionally styled double bedroom with a wash basin. In addition, there is a conveniently located WC to serve the bedrooms upstairs. To the rear of the cottage, a paved courtyard offers a place to sit outside with Fido and soak up the sunshine.

Located in the village of Askrigg, there are a number of places in the locality worth exploring, from Hawes (6 miles) for its fine foods and Wensleydale cheese to Leyburn Shawl where your dog can lead the way to a number of awe-inspiring views. Well equipped kitchen, disappointing welcome pack, no tea towel or kitchen towel provided. May be an idea to leave one dishwasher tablet for use.
