Prepare for the ultimate couples’ trip to North West Wales in this luxurious, five-star cottage. There’s room for four people and, most importantly, two dogs, and we know everyone will have a ball. Spend your time exploring the surrounding countryside and coast, or relax in the hot tub or in front of the wood burner.

Outside of the cottage is an enclosed garden for Fido and a friend to sniff around, while the humans of the pack enjoy the sunny patio or prepare for a BBQ. This is also where you’ll find the hot tub, perfect for afternoon dips or stargazing. When you head inside, you’ll find wooden floors, wooden furniture and wooden beams throughout the downstairs, and upstairs there’s one normal double bedroom, and one room with two small double beds, providing a range of sleeping options.

Once you’re well rested, grab the dogs and head out to explore the Welsh countryside. It’s absolutely stunning in this area, and there are lots of walks to take you around so you can see as much as possible. If you’re craving sea air, head 8 miles down the road to a dog-friendly beach and stop for a hearty lunch at the nearby pub which also welcomes canines. If you fancy a bit of history and culture, try Aberystwyth, which is 15.5 miles away.

A wonderfully comfortable holiday home with everything you could wish for to make a perfect stay. Deep in the heart of the countryside, it was heavenly to be so quiet, not to mention the stars at night when sitting in the hot tub! No light pollution! Hard to recommend this holiday home more, as it really was perfect.

The host, Mr Jolly, was a delight - not imposing but if you needed him he would be there in the blink of an eye. Loads of local brochures and maps to help you make the most of your stay. Board games and puzzles in lounge. Hot tub was great, especially on a clear night when you can star gaze with zero light pollution (turn the outside lights and hot tub light off at switch - you will be amazed!) We arranged for a Tesco food delivery on the day we arrived and were so glad we did as, although there was a well stocked Spar in Tregaron around 4 miles away, it was much easier and less hassle than trying to find all your favourite bits here and there. Newquay was our favourite beach day, about a half hour drive but worth it. Boat trips and dolphin watching - we saw dolphins whilst eating our fish and chips on the beach! Cors Caron was a nice 1.5 mile boardwalk around marshland/bogs - prettier than that sounds! We would definitely return to this property and would recommend it to anybody looking for a quiet escape away. Hide
