Happisburgh is renowned for its quaint thatched cottages, famous red and white striped lighthouse, and dog-friendly beach, and makes a great base for exploring the Norfolk coast. Dogs are welcome at several nearby beaches including Mundesley, Trimingham, Waxham and Horsey Gap, all within 9.5 miles. Inland, the nearest of the Norfolk Broads is Hickling Broad (7.5 miles).
