Nestled in a peaceful location on the outskirts of Aberdaron, this contemporary cottage is what coastal dreams are made of for up to eight guests and their two lucky pups. With uninterrupted views over Aberdaron Bay, easy access to dog-friendly beaches and wonderful walkies, and several attractions within easy reach, this four-bedroom cottage is perfectly placed to explore the Llyn Peninsula.
This is a stylish property that’s been fully renovated to offer contemporary comforts and make the most of the exquisite views. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is the hub of the home. Prepare delicious dinners in the fitted kitchen while your sleeping dogs lie in front of the elegant wood burner, then gather your pack around the dining table to feast while admiring the views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s seating for all in the adjoining lounge, but plenty of room if you like a little quiet time too. Cosy up on the sofas in the ground floor snug to watch TV, or head upstairs to the cosy retreat to relax in beanbags – an ideal spot for kids to play. You can freshen up in the fabulous, fully tiled family bathroom, and there are also two en-suite bathrooms. A restful night’s sleep awaits in one of four bedrooms – a king-size and two king-size zip-and-link bedrooms on the ground floor and a twin room upstairs. Enjoy a sundowner on the patio while your four-legged friends stretch their legs on the lawn.
Go mutts with your pups on Aberdaron beach, a sandy strip on the western tip of the Llyn Peninsula – though note that some areas of the beach have dog restrictions in summer. Or sniff out adventures along with the Wales Coast Path, which runs in both directions from the property. You can walk the pilgrim route from Aberdaron to Porth Meudwy with your canine companions, and visit the National Trust’s Plas yn Rhiw (3.5 miles), where your dogs can explore the lower woodland and join you for a tasty treat in the tearoom courtyard.
