This is a comfortable, well equipped and well located venue for a holiday, near shops and close to the beach. However, because of the age of the property, the stairs are very steep and would be difficult for those with mobility issues, and bedrooms are small.

We loved staying at this property and have previously stayed in a summer time. It was lovely to experience the winter and make the most of the wonderful log burned in the evenings. It is super central (not that anything is too far in Southwold) and is well equipped and cosy. We hope to return yet again.

Lovely cottage with a considerate owner; however, let down by poor housekeeping.

A very clean and well equipped cottage, and in an excellent location to access the seafront, shops, playground and other facilities.

Brilliant location in the centre of Southwold. Cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. The seagulls are loud but to be expected given the seaside location!

A lovely cottage, more spacious than anticipated, very comfortable downstairs. Upstairs quaint beds very comfortable. Even the seagulls didnt detract from a lovely stay. It was lovely seeing the chicks on the roof. Would love to return

comfortable and good location close to town centre. The property caters for four people but the upstairs would be quite snug with four adults.

Great location, nicely decorated and well-equipped. However, it was very noisy owing to nesting seagulls which disturbed sleep. The double bedroom is compact.

Lovely property but beware of seagulls. There are nests on the roof and outhouse, and we had two chicks in the courtyard the whole week. It would probably be OK outside of seagull breeding season.

The cottage has an excellent location. A quiet street in the town close to the beach and other amenities. There is no parking outside the property but we found several close by and there are several car parks.
