The open-plan living space is warm and inviting, located on the first floor with natural wooden beams across the ceiling, two comfortable sofas and a roaring wood burner set into a characterful fireplace. Kick back and watch a film with your dog by your feet and enjoy the relaxing nature of the space and surroundings. To one side of the room is a pretty dining table seating six whilst the charming kitchen sits just round the corner with plenty of floor and surface space, as well as all the modern conveniences to make your stay as pleasant as can be. A WC completes the first floor. Downstairs, there are three tastefully decorated bedrooms, one of which is a king-sized room with a neutral colour palette, a divan bed which can be made up as a twin on request and a wardrobe for storage. Bedroom two is a pretty double, and the final room is a quaint single, well suited to a child. The family bathroom has a spacious p-shaped bathtub with a shower overhead to please all members of the family. Outside are two seating areas with far-reaching views of the countryside location, as well as a quirky summer house which is great for al fresco entertaining.
Located within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the walking trails and cycling tracks available on your doorstep are unrivalled, leading through woodland, past waterfalls and through fascinating towns and villages. The route to Hawes (9 miles) offers a great walk for those on four legs as well as two, with a number of dog-friendly eateries within the market town to refuel or visit historic Richmond (16 miles) to explore the castle and walk the River Swale.
