Life is sweet in this candy cottage with a gingerbread summerhouse in the garden. Get away with your family to the beautiful Welsh town of New Quay, situated on the coast with plenty of places to explore and enjoy. There’s space for six people and their dog to enjoy the hideaway, plus there’s additional room for a child under six in a petite bedroom. So, pack up your family for an unforgettable adventure in Wales.
The interior and exterior of the cottage are both coloured with pastels for a touch of old-world seaside charm. Fido will sniff out the enclosed garden and find a gorgeous summer house/game room – the perfect place for a glass of wine in the evenings after the kids are in bed. There’s also a BBQ in the garden, so you can cook up a storm when you get back from exploring. Inside is characterful accommodation with plenty of room for relaxing and dining together, as well as four charming bedrooms for when the day is done.
New Quay is a charming town with a fascinating history. Take everyone down to the dog-friendly beach (1 mile away) for rock pooling, paddling or even surfing. When you’re hungry, head back into town for restaurants which welcome dogs, then take the lead and explore the Woodlands Park Resort, a managed forest for everyone to enjoy, 1.5 miles from the cottage. The highlight of a busy trip? If you visit from April to October, you can take a dolphin spotting boat trip past Dylan Thomas’ house. Salty sea dogs are welcome on board too.
