Life is sweet in this candy cottage with a gingerbread summerhouse in the garden. Get away with your family to the beautiful Welsh town of New Quay, situated on the coast with plenty of places to explore and enjoy. There’s space for six people and their dog to enjoy the hideaway, plus there’s additional room for a child under six in a petite bedroom. So, pack up your family for an unforgettable adventure in Wales.

The interior and exterior of the cottage are both coloured with pastels for a touch of old-world seaside charm. Fido will sniff out the enclosed garden and find a gorgeous summer house/game room – the perfect place for a glass of wine in the evenings after the kids are in bed. There’s also a BBQ in the garden, so you can cook up a storm when you get back from exploring. Inside is characterful accommodation with plenty of room for relaxing and dining together, as well as four charming bedrooms for when the day is done.

New Quay is a charming town with a fascinating history. Take everyone down to the dog-friendly beach (1 mile away) for rock pooling, paddling or even surfing. When you’re hungry, head back into town for restaurants which welcome dogs, then take the lead and explore the Woodlands Park Resort, a managed forest for everyone to enjoy, 1.5 miles from the cottage. The highlight of a busy trip? If you visit from April to October, you can take a dolphin spotting boat trip past Dylan Thomas’ house. Salty sea dogs are welcome on board too.

The house is lovely, well furnished, all mod cons, I have no criticism. The only down side is the walk into New Quay is along a busy, narrow road so we tended to use the car.

What a lovely house, views from rear bedrooms amazing and the games room a great touch and was used daily. House was very clean and a lovely touch on arrival with a pint of milk Welsh cakes and bread thank you. Location was a 20 minute dog walk to the harbour wall down the road or 25 minute walk if walking along the beach access through the caRead moreravan park but you would need a low tide for this. The beach takes 10 minutes to get to through the caravan park. We saw dolphins in the harbour and bay every day, just 20m of either harbour walls but the tide needs to be in. Would recommend staying at this cottage again. Hide

Belvedere is a fine old house in a lovely part of Wales. With views at the back overlooking Cardigan bay and New key harbour (a short walk from the house). The rooms and beds are comfortable and spacious. We had a small issue with the heating when we first arrived but this was quickly resolved. The games room in the garden is great for rainy days Read moreor evenings. Hide

Just returned from a week long stay at Belvedere and from the moment we walked in to the house, we absolutely loved it. I especially loved Ty Bach-so cute and a real surprise! Everywhere was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The games room and garden was a real bonus and the location was ideal. The views out to cardigan bay from the house Read moreand further along the road were magnificent and it was only a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach which was ideal for dog walks. Great places to eat and the New Quay ice cream did not disappoint!! Have just booked another holiday there and cant wait to return!! Thank you to the owners of this lovely property. Its a little gem.
