Set in the grounds of Oxwich Castle Farm, this contemporary and welcoming property is perfect for families or friends and up to two four-legged friends looking for a peaceful holiday. The house is an ideal base for exploring the sandy beaches and stunning woodlands of the Gower Peninsula. The cottage makes a great base for walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers, with the pretty village of Oxwich 0.5 miles away. Your pups will lead you to the sandy beach and a walk out to Oxwich Point, where they can enjoy sniffing out some adventures.

This lovely two-storey property has a real home-from-home feel and a light and airy ambience, so you can leave your everyday cares at the door and simply relax. Enter the welcoming lounge/diner, and your hounds will race you to the best spot as there is plenty of plush seating and a TV for entertainment. The contemporary kitchen has everything to make meal preparation a breeze, and completing the ground floor is a family bathroom. Upstairs, offers four bedrooms - an en-suite king-size room, a double, a single and a smaller room for one child. The private enclosed patio features outdoor furniture and a view of Oxwich Castle, making it a safe area for your pups and the children to play and a perfect spot for al fresco dining.

Swansea (13 miles) offers a variety of eateries plus attractions, including nearby Clyne Farm Centre (10 miles) and Singleton Park and Boating Lake (11.5 miles). Closer to home, there are beautiful beaches to discover at Three Cliffs Bay (8 miles) and Pobbles Bay (8 miles) or head to Oxwich Bay Beach and follow the coastal path to enjoy some spectacular cliff top views. Loughor Estuary (14 miles) trail is sure to set tails wagging and offers the chance to spot plenty of wildlife and birdlife.

We had a lovely time, nice spacious accommodation for multi generation holiday. Only drawback was track to cottage not good for our small car. Also a sign at the bottom of the track would help as it didn't look like it was leading to a cottage.

The cottage was really good lovely location, but the road upto it was very rough and definitely not for a low car

The cottage was generally clean but skirting boards were dirty, the freezer was very frosted to the extent that we had to spend one morning defrosting it so we could close the door., which is a large proportion of our short break. I would recommend that for he size of the cottage a dishwasher would be.a good addition.

We had a delightful week with our dog. The property is modern and comfortable. The weather was very hot so we made extensive use of the garden for dining etc. The beach is a fair walk downhill but manageable. The return trek uphill can be challenging after expending energy on the beach! Suggestions: think about supplying a parasol over the table aRead morend a small barbecue ? Hide

There was no mirror or shelf in the en suite and no towel rails to put your towels on to dry in both bathrooms. The road to the property was so bad I bottomed out with my car which is a standard Peugeot 5008. But we found the property very nice with good views across the valley and was very close to the beach.

Overall a good property. Pluses Comfy beds, great location for walking, great views, plenty of electrical sockets was useful, decent garden space, Lots of local information in the folder.
