Set in the picturesque fishing village of Seahouses, this lovingly decorated, two-storey cottage is ideally placed for a family or group of friends keen to explore the coast. Set tails wagging with strolls along Seahouses Harbour, or head to the Northumberland countryside to sniff out new and exciting trails.

Step through the front door of this gorgeous cottage to be welcomed by a sleek and elegant interior. With gentle coastal themes throughout, you’re bound to get the peaceful stay you’ve dreamed of. Take your happy hound through into the comfortable lounge area, where plump sofas and armchairs are met with the glow of the wood burner. Cosy up after a long day or feed hungry bellies in the airy kitchen space, complete with high-quality appliances and farmhouse-style units. Rustle up nibbles for your furry friend, and dine together at the adjoining dining table. Climb the staircase to reach the first floor, where three bedrooms invite weary heads; a king-size, a twin and a room with bunk beds for children. The spacious family bathroom is also here, where muscles can be soaked in the relaxing bathtub after a day of sightseeing. On balmy days, sit in the delightful cottage garden brimming with trees, flowers and shrubs - plenty of choice for Rover to choose his snoozing spot.

Fetch sticks, play ball, eat ice cream, and catch a boat from the harbour to the Farne Islands to see puffins, dolphins and grey seal colonies. For a taste of the local cuisine, try the fresh fish and chips at many of the local eateries - and don’t forget a bit for Rover too! Home to more castles than any other county, Northumberland boasts many magnificent fortresses, including that of Bamburgh, a castle standing guard for over 1,400 years and is 150 feet above the coastline. Feel free to take your pooch around the outdoor grounds of this monument before popping in for a coffee and slice of cake.

House was perfect base for exploring the coast. Only 10 mins walk into Seahouses with plenty of restaurants, boats to Farnes and the glorious beaches. Beds were very comfy and the house had everything for a stay. Garden was lovely.

After much deliver and comparison I selected this house. Mainly for location and a secure garden for our new dog. The house is decorated and furnished impeccably. Especially the picture over the fire in the front room. Everything you need in utensils, cleaning items etc. it is obvious the owner has spent a lot of money on this property .the bed wasRead more wonderfully comfortable and the back garden was mature, secluded and secure. The house is less than ten minutes from the centre of Seahouses and the beach. There is a good coop supermarket and ample eateries. This is the best property I have ever rented so well done. Hide

A comfortable, if somewhat pricey cottage with a lovely garden. Wish the weather had been better! We appreciated the welcome basket of biscuits, emergency milk, tea and coffee. Super comfortable beds and warm quilts.

Definitely recommend this property. 5-10 minute walk to Seahouses village and the seafront and 15 minute walk from an amazing beach. The house had everything we needed. The weather was terrible at times as you expect in April, but the log burner along with the radiators made the house lovely and warm. The Garden is lovely and its a shame we couldn'Read moret enjoy it more due to the weather. This is a really good base to visit lots of attractions in the area. We were a family of 2 adults, 3 children & a dog. The property is plenty big enough. We could park right outside the property which was ideal. The owners left a binder with useful information in, and it was really useful, pointing us to local attractions, pubs and walks. We would definitely use this property again. Hide
