Pack your bags, grab the dog and stuff the kids in the car for a Welsh adventure. This two-bedroom house in Porthcawl is the ideal base for a trip with lots of days out and plenty of fun. Remember the seaside trips you had as a child as you visit the Coney Beach Amusement Park or attempt to build a sandcastle before enjoying an evening in this spacious cottage, playing board games or organising movie nights while the dog snoozes in the corner.

Discover a no-fuss yet beautiful space where you can prepare for the day. This cottage has lovely wooden floors and cool colours throughout. There are two bedrooms: a twin room for the children and a double room downstairs with patio doors which lead to the enclosed back garden. Enjoy meals outside, cooked either in the well-equipped kitchen or on the BBQ, before curling up in the comfortable lounge for the evening.

You’re right in Porthcawl, where there are lots of dog-friendly pubs, restaurants and cafes if you fancy a meal out, or you can head to the Coney Beach Amusement Park for fun and games, followed by fish and chips. It’s worth checking ahead to see if the beach allows dogs because it varies depending on where you go and the season. If your kids want some adventures and you’re happy spending time with the dog, pack them off to Adventure Wales, 2.5 miles away, where they can try white water rafting, quad biking, high roping and much more. Alternatively, there are some great walks nearby, so let Fido lead the way to adventure.

Lovely apartment well presented and well equipped. Love the fact that it was pet friendly so our little dog could enjoy the holiday with us. Particularly enjoyed the beaches and exploring the rugged coastline. The four waterfalls Trail was also a high point. There was no welcome basket which was very disappointing after a 3 hour journey. Luckily there was a Co-op very close by to buy basics like tea/coffee/milk/sugar etc. There was no hand held shower attachment which as a female, I found it awkward to wash properly with just the static ceiling shower head. You need to show this in the photos and inclRead moreude it in the description for the bathroom facilities! Other than that, its a very good location and base which is close to several beaches, town centre and promenade. Fantastic secure garden for my dog too. Porthcawl is a beautiful place with plenty to do and see. Fab coastal walks just down the road from the property. Hide
