Pleasant cottage in Reydon in a quiet area. It sleeps 8, beds are comfy, great garden for dogs and children to run round in. Cleverly laid out to give two double adult en-suite bedrooms and two childrens bedrooms. Very large lounge, good dining area that includes the conservatory (has access to garden), kitchen with a small table & stools, whichRead more one can keep dogs in overnight, plus a utility room with a washing machine. Garden has a summer house, outside table and chairs, rotary washing line and a barbeque, not much overlooked. Kitchen gives access to a hall (utility is off this) which leads to the back door where one can access the garden and the back gate to Queens Road. Very close to convenience store (2 mins) and the recreation ground (1 min) from Queens Road, which is great for children (it has a slide, swings etc.) and dogs a run round. Easy walk in to Southwold (20 mins to Police Station at the top of the Town and 20 minutes walk to the Pier, via the footpath where Covert Road meets The Lowestoft Road). A nice welcome pack, some teas, coffee, chocolate biscuits etc. of local products was left for us on the dining room table. Hide

Bedrooms were fine but some maintenance issues with heating, fridge and leaks meant it was not the restful get away from it all we wanted.

Had a great time in Suffolk. Garden was untidy and unloved so needs attention. Otherwise very comfortable.

A really nice home from home for the weekend. We (7 people + 1 medium dog) really enjoyed our stay at Fallowfield. The place was very clean on arrival and the hosts had kindly left us a little care package to welcome us (the marmalade was delicious!) All of the bedrooms were lovely and comfortable and Henry (dog) really enjoyed exploring the gardenRead more (very securely fenced all round.) We would recommend Fallowfield to families wanting to enjoy some time together in a good location, only a 25 min walk from Southwold. Hide

The property was very homely & plenty big enough for us all. It had every utensil known to man in the kitchen. It was a perfect walking distance from Southwold, we walked along the seafront everyday. A well stocked shop just around the corner. Ideal for our family Christmas break away.

We had nearly everything we needed for a short break for the whole family. I wish properties that accommodate 8 people would have appropriate pots & pans to cook for them & more than one cafetire would have been useful. There also needs to be some standardising of the welcome pack & the basics the website says are included - foil, cling wrap, kitchRead moreen roll etc. This is the third cottage weve booked this year & none of them were fully equipped.
