Spend some quality time with two wagging companions plus a small group of friends or family in this three-bed, seaside getaway in the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Inside this traditional stone-built cottage are characterful and charming features, like wooden beamed ceilings, which will ensure a memorable stay. After a day exploring the beaches and quaint fishing villages, dine alfresco in the garden or warm cold feet and paws in front of the open fire.
Walk through the entrance area where you can hang up your coats and move into the bright and modern kitchen with glossy cabinets. Continue into the lounge/diner, which is spacious with dual aspect windows, two plump sofas and an armchair in front of the open fire, a Smart TV and a dining table. Upstairs is a family bathroom and three bedrooms – a king-size with a TV, a double, and a twin. Outside is a garden with furniture, which is shared with neighbouring properties.
During your stay in North Sunderland, wander 0.5 miles to reach the centre of the fishing village Seahouses. Here you can grab a coffee before walking along the water from the harbour to Annstead Dunes Nature Reserve (2 miles)– a pristine sandy stretch of beach which is canine-welcoming all year round. If you’re up for an adventure, hop on a boat and visit Farne Islands – home to over a hundred types of seabird and grey seals. Just 3 miles away is the picturesque seafront Bamburgh Castle, which is from the Anglo-Saxon era.
