Reach the property by taking the lift to the second floor. Step inside the open-plan living area where you’ll find a well-sized kitchen with a peninsula and breakfast bar. Treat yourself to a beverage from the coffee machine and put your feet up on one of the two plump sofas in front of the TV. Behind this space is a dining table with seating for four. There is one family bathroom with a shower over the bath and three bedrooms to choose from, two king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room and TV, plus a cosy twin bedroom. Outside is a lawned space with furniture which is shared with neighbouring properties. Private parking for 1 car, with overspill parking available free of charge.
During your stay in the small village of Waren Mill, the seafront will be less than 0.5 miles from your doorstep. Walk down to the beach and look out across the water to Holy Island and take Fido along the coastal path, which will take you to Bamburgh Lighthouse and Bamburgh Beach (3 miles), where you’ll find the imposing Anglo-Saxon castle. Additionally, the village of Bamburgh offers a handful of shops and dog-friendly restaurants. Further afield you can explore St Cuthbert’s Cave (9.5 miles), the mediaeval Preston Tower (8 miles) and Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve – which is accessed by the causeway (14 miles).
The owners of Bay View have provided all guests with holiday cottage membership of The Ocean Club in Seahouses, where only members are able to use the swimming pool, gym and sauna (nominal entrance fee payable). The Ocean Club also has electric car charging points available to guests.
