Escape to the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with your furry companion and a small group of friends or family for a seaside getaway filled with scenic nature walks and morning swims. This second-floor apartment is homely and bright, benefiting from idyllic views of Budle Bay and a prime location for a relaxing coastal stay.
Reach the property by taking the lift to the second floor. Step inside the open-plan living area where you’ll find a well-sized kitchen with a peninsula and breakfast bar. Treat yourself to a beverage from the coffee machine and put your feet up on one of the two plump sofas in front of the TV. Behind this space is a dining table with seating for four. There is one family bathroom with a shower over the bath and three bedrooms – a king-size with en-suite walk in shower room, and two twins. Outside is a lawned space with furniture which is shared with neighbouring properties.
During your stay in the small village of Waren Mill, the seafront will be less than 0.5 miles from your doorstep. Walk down to the beach and look out across the water to Holy Island and take Fido along the coastal path, which will take you to Bamburgh Lighthouse and Bamburgh Beach (3 miles), where you’ll find the imposing Anglo-Saxon castle. Additionally, the village of Bamburgh offers a handful of shops and dog-friendly restaurants. Further afield you can explore St Cuthbert’s Cave (9.5 miles), the mediaeval Preston Tower (8 miles) and Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve – which is accessed by the causeway (14 miles).
