Escape to this delightful four-bed retreat in Docking for a break with your nearest and dearest. And, naturally, that includes your favourite four-legged friend. This lovely property is in the perfect location for any multi-generational family or friendship group to explore the inland villages and coastal resorts of North Norfolk. Offering spacious interiors with superb attention to detail throughout, with lots of seating areas to take time out in, you won’t get under each other’s feet here. There’s also a games room and a sizeable, enclosed garden for BBQ feasts.
Feel the stresses of everyday life dissipate as you recline on the sumptuous seating in the double-height lounge with its French doors out to the garden for warmer months and red-brick chimney housing a wood burner for cooler days – all under a beamed vaulted ceiling. The kitchen/diner is a similarly impressive space with room for more than one cook and a modern set-up for nine to eat under the cathedral ceiling. Settle old scores with a game of pool, table football or tennis and darts. Sleeping quarters comprise two king-size bedrooms, one double bedroom and one triple with three single beds. The large, furnished garden is ideal for canine sniffing missions.
If the sea is calling, take your faithful hound to Old Hunstanton Beach (8 miles) which has long sandy stretches backed by impressive dunes. It welcomes dogs year-round. Another wide, open, golden expanse at low tide is Brancaster Beach (6 miles). Don’t forget your bucket and spade! Keen birders will enjoy RSPB Titchwell Marsh but note that dogs can only go in certain areas and must be on a lead. Norfolk Lavender (6 miles) houses the English Collection of Lavender and makes an interesting outing, but do note that it only admits dogs in the grounds.
