If you want to explore further afield, head to Embsay station, 1.5 miles, for a chug on a vintage train (well-behaved dogs welcome on board) through beautiful Dales scenery to Bolton Abbey station. from where you can walk the 1.5 miles to the ruined Priory (Bolton ‘Abbey’) and enjoy 80 miles of riverside, woodland and moorland paths through the historic estate.
