This homely studio apartment in the pretty village of St Merryn is the perfect base for a pair of beach lovers who are looking to spend some time on some of Cornwall's finest beaches. Guests can make the most of the local shops and pubs in the village, which are all within 0.5 miles. Surrounding St Merryn are the spectacular Seven Bays — the most popular are Porthcothan Bay (2.5 miles) and Harlyn Bay (1.5 miles). Bring your walking boots, because there are numerous scenic, coastal walks that will blow you away. Bring along a picnic and make a day of it. Don’t miss the Trevose Head Lighthouse (3 miles) while you’re there.

The apartment sits above the garage on the grounds of the residential property of St Hillary. On entering the property, you’ll walk through into the kitchen/dining area which is a relaxing and homely space. There is a neat kitchen area with a window to keep the area bright while cooking a hearty meal. Next to the kitchen units, there’s a table and chairs for two to sit at and enjoy your food while making tomorrow's plans. Upstairs, you’ll find the multi-functional bedroom/lounge. Here, you can relax in front of the TV on the plump sofa in the evening. Then, it’s not far to climb into the double bed, where you can gaze out of the roof window at the glistening stars. Also on this floor is the bathroom, which is a light room with a shower.

To the side of the property, there is a small garden, which is lawned with a table and chairs beside an old dry-stone wall and plants.

Lovely little property that had everything you could ask for in a long weekend stay. Located in a nice part of the village with a shop, wine bar and a few pubs that sell lovely food within a short walk. Beach was 1.5 miles away and was a nice walk there and back. Bus access to Padstow and Newquay and a Tesco not that far away. I would book again Read moreand would recommend this lovely little annex. Hide

Little Robin is perfect for 2 people to spend their holiday in. Location is ideal, walking distance to shops, pubs and eateries. Harlyn Bay is close by and is a lovely beach. A really lovely place to stay for a relaxing break.

Good location for beaches and shops. Clean comfortable bed.No Wi-Fi. No good for disabled or elderly as stairs are steep and shower is very tight . Everything but a toaster. Great for a young couple. Stayed a week in July 2022. Handy for shops/ pub. Nicely vented opening skylights, and well insulated from external heat.
