Nestled within a quiet hamlet “where the road meets the sea” in Walcott, a seaside town famed for its coastal road which runs right along the seafront, this spacious bungalow is sure to set tails wagging. A single-storey holiday home with a fabulous garden and spectacular views across the field beyond, it is an ideal retreat for a family or group of friends of up to six guests and two beloved hounds.
Step inside and soak up the beautiful Norfolk light, this cottage is filled with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In the spacious lounge, you’ll find ample seating for an evening in front of the TV, before gathering in the conservatory for dinner. French doors lead from here onto the patio, which boasts fantastic views across open fields. Handily, you’ll also find an informal dining space in the well-equipped kitchen too. There are three spacious bedrooms; one double room and a double bedroom with access to a delightful twin room with a trundle bed (there’s an additional charge for this). The family bathroom is also on this floor. Step outside into breathtaking surroundings and a lovely lawned garden with a patio and decking, the ideal spot for dining alfresco and for children and dogs to play in. Please be aware there is a fenced dyke at the end of the rear garden.
The property is tucked away in a peaceful cul-de-sac 150 metres from Walcott Beach, a vast stretch of golden sand perfect for visiting with a bucket and spade. The beach is backed by a large sea defence wall just across the road from an abundance of resort-style amenities. Dogs are welcome, with some restrictions. Just 4 miles up the road, you can sniff out adventures along the woodland trails of Bacton Wood, or discover your sea legs and embark on a waterway adventure from Wroxham (12 miles) where you can hire a boat and explore the Norfolk Broads National Park.
