Bring friends and family together in this spacious holiday home, set within the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Enjoy dog walks around the picturesque village of Sedgeford to admire the historic buildings and flower-covered cottages before returning for an al fresco meal in the large garden. Nearby doggy days out include Sandringham Estate (7 miles), where pups are welcome to explore the 600-acre Royal Park.
The property has a home-away-from-home feel, with cute accessories and comfortable soft furnishings. A hard floor runs throughout the living areas, making it easy to deal with the odd muddy pawprint. An impressive entrance hall opens into a large lounge, with sumptuous sofas and a cosy wood burner. French doors open onto the enclosed garden so Rover can potter in and out. The statement kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cater for the group, and there’s a separate dining room for sharing mealtimes together. The ground floor also houses a king-size bedroom, shower room and utility room. The remaining bedrooms – one of which has an en-suite bathroom - are on the first floor, along with a family bathroom. The outdoor area is perfect for 2 dogs to play, with a vast enclosed lawn to charge around on, whilst you enjoy an al fresco meal on the patio.
Just 3 miles from the property is Heacham, which boasts a sandy beach that welcomes four-pawed beach-goers all year. You’ll also find amusements for the kids and a number of traditional seaside shops and eateries. As one of Norfolk’s only west-facing beaches, it’s also a lovely spot to watch the sun set. Keen walkers and canine explorers will have access to some excellent long-distance routes, including the Peddars Way, which passes just outside Sedgeford, and the Norfolk Coast Path, which you can join in Hunstanton (4 miles).
