Head over to the wood burner on autumn and winter days and lay a fire to bring a cosy glow to the space. Top up Fido’s water bowl, give him his dinner then whip up a tasty meal and pull a stool up to the breakfast bar so you can dine too. After dinner, find a good film on TV and and settle into a comfortable chair while your contented canine dozes close by. When you are ready to lay your head for the night too, make your way through to the king-size bedroom, which has a bed that can also be arranged as two singles by prior agreement. The cottage has a bathroom where you can treat yourself to a long, hot soak. On summer days, take Fido outside with you into the delightful cottage garden while you have a glass of wine or even dinner out in the fresh air. There is parking for three cars at this property.
Take time out to visit impressive Chatsworth House, 5 miles away, where Fido can stroll through the park and the gardens with you. Walk 1.5 miles or drive 4 miles to Linacre Reservoirs, where there are trails that Fido is permitted to follow off the lead.
