Inside, rustic flagstone floors, exposed ceiling beams, and antique furnishings create a welcoming ambience. Enter to find a hallway with an impressive grandfather clock and an oak staircase. A spacious lounge beckons, with plush sofas, a Smart TV above a wood burner, and windows framing gorgeous views. The kitchen/diner features a long table for 12, complemented by armchairs and a second wood burner that Fido is sure to adore. The bespoke kitchen offers granite worktops and a large Range Cooker. A utility room, a dedicated dog area, and a ground-floor double bedroom complete this level. Upstairs, the three large bedrooms all boast countryside views. The master bedroom offers a super king-size bed that can convert to twins and an en-suite bathroom/dressing room. The second bedroom features a king-size bed and elegant dressing table, while the third is a spacious triple with matching wooden sleigh beds. A marbled family bathroom completes the internal layout. The extensive grounds include a stone patio and raised decking with seating for al fresco dining. Descend to an enclosed garden with flowerbeds and lawns leading to a secluded hot tub. Beside it, a garden room and bar area offer outdoor entertainment, sheltered from the elements.

Set on the edge of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the farmhouse is an ideal base for enthusiastic hikers and cyclists looking to explore ancient woodlands and the Ribble Valley with their faithful companions. Nearby, the charming town of Ribchester (2 miles) boasts many pup-positive pubs and cafes, while the traditional seaside delights of Blackpool are 25 miles from your door.

Gorgeous house in a lovely location. Beautiful sunrise over Pendle and the Christmas tree added to the homely feeling. Well be back!

Excellent accommodation situated in an ideal spot for exploring the Lancashire countryside. On a good bus route for the Tolkien Trail and the town of Clitheroe. The host was welcoming and had good knowledge of the area.

Lovely property, great for a family holiday . Beds were all very comfortable and rooms very spacious. Hot tub was checked every day by owner and is very well presented next to an outdoor area where we were able to socialise as a large group. Garden lovely and great to be able to eat inside or out with a lovely deck area. Would highly recommend
