It won’t be hard to relax here and, as everyone knows that dogs are part of the family, up to two canine chums can join you! There’s a dining area here too as well as another table in the expansive kitchen which is so beautiful complete with AGA that you’ll be fighting over chef duty! Two staircases at either end of the house take you to the elegant sleeping quarters which comprise two doubles, one twin and one bunk bedroom – all in calming tones.

To the front of the house is an enclosed terrace with outdoor furniture, a BBQ and creek views. Opposite the house a spacious lawned garden provides direct gated access to the creek, which is brilliant for kayaking and paddleboarding, subject to tides. So, you can spend time messing about on the river and relaxing in a choice of comfortable seating areas inside this beautiful house. The cottage is beautiful and situated in an extremely peaceful part of the village. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are modern and well decorated. Access to the garden is across the track but is a real bonus.

Lovely cottage by the creek. Perfect for touring around the north of Cornwall or hunkering down in the winter which is just what we were looking for. We spent a good deal of our break in the cottage and it was the perfect hideaway for a week of relaxation.

This was an excellent cottage with enough space for everyone to fit and have their own space. it was comfy and a nice place to stay for the week, close enough to beaches and tourist spots but no in the thick of it.

Our family of seven, five adults, two children spent the Easter break at The Boathouse. It was a home from home. The creek wasnt deep enough for our kayaks during our visit but provided some beautiful views and soothing noises, especially at night. With the occasional coot & duck call . I would visit again, maybe a different time of year . Hide
