This charming stone cottage in the village of Chapel Stile offers you cosy accommodation for a restorative break in the world-famous Lake District. Spend your days taking your pet on long walks through awe-inspiring scenery, followed by cosy evenings in enjoying this stylish house which boasts stunning views of Lingmoor Fell and the Langdale Pikes. With two bedrooms, there’s space for up to four guests and one four-legged visitor is welcome, too.

You’ll enter the property into a cosy lounge with inviting sofas, a Smart TV and a wood burner that’s every tired dog’s dream. The stone-flagged floor and mullioned sash windows give this space a lovely rustic aesthetic. With a skylight and two windows, the modern kitchen/diner has an airy feel to it – this is where you’ll enjoy breakfasts and evening meals together. Upstairs, you’ll find the two bedrooms, which are decorated in appealing muted shades with floral soft furnishings. Outside there’s a shared lawned garden which is wonderful for seeking out some fresh air and, for furry guests, more potential snooze spots.

The village has a dog-friendly pub (0.5 miles) where you can enjoy a holiday pint with your pet nestled at your feet. When it’s time to take her for a workout, you’ll find plenty of excellent walks starting from the village – you could start with the wander along the Cumbria Way to nearby Elterwater (1 mile) which has a lovely lake. The Cathedral quarries (3 miles) are an impressive local site you can discover with your pet, while Lake Windermere (5 miles) offers plenty more walking opportunities as well as water sports you can take part in with your pet, like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.

A lovely cottage and a fantastic location in my opinion the best place ( valley) in the lakes and also 5mins walk from the pub nice after a long walk . We will 100% be back .thank you

We like this property and have stayed in it several times! Its location in the langdale valley is very attractive and convenient.

The cooker was not working and the hob wasnt very safe. Id be surprised if this has had an electricians safety certificate
