After an action-packed day, return to the cottage to unwind in the inviting lounge/diner. Sink into one of the comfortable sofas – with Fido stretched out at your feet – to read a book or watch the Smart TV. Just off the dining area, through an open archway, is a beautiful kitchen with glossy units, feature lighting and all the equipment needed to rustle up hearty meals for the group. Upstairs, two tranquil bedrooms await, along with the family bathroom. Please note, there are some sloping ceilings upstairs and you may experience restricted head height in some areas. Outside, the enclosed, courtyard garden enjoys distant views of the Camel Estuary and has furniture for dining alfresco on a summer’s evening. Private parking is available for one car.
Padstow is a thriving harbour town, renowned for its fabulous food scene. After a potter amongst its cobbled streets, head into one of the cosy, paw-friendly pubs or sample some delicious local seafood at one of the high-end restaurants. There are some excellent walks branching away from the town, including along the traffic-free Camel Trail or following the dramatic South West Coast Path. Just outside the town, you’ll find some delightful, secluded beaches that welcome waggy-tailed visitors all year. Nearby woof-welcoming attractions include Tintagel Castle (22 miles) and Prideaux Place (1 mile).
