A tastefully styled former sweet shop perfectly positioned for exploring Whitstable and the Kent Coast, this oasis is the perfect hideaway for families or group gatherings with a couple of waggy-tailed pals in tow. Gear up for a blustery coastal walk to Herne Bay and let Fido and friends feel the wind in their fur as you amble along the craggy clifftops trail, then kick up your feet and catch a pre-dinner snooze in the ambient glow of the crackling wood burner.

This inviting property offers a contemporary beach interior with hardwood flooring, seafoam green and marine blue tones, and quirky nautical touches throughout. Slide off sandy shoes and bound into the bright and airy sitting room where your worn-out pup can stretch his paws by the fire while you unwind with a drink. Aspiring chefs can whip up a snack board in the stylish shaker kitchen or sniff out the best local takeout for dinner. Enjoy a spacious dining area, perfect for perching with a morning brew and the newspaper or throw open the patio doors and dine alfresco as you bask in the mild coastal climate. Upstairs, you can settle in for a peaceful night’s sleep in the thoughtfully designed bedrooms styled in tranquil blue tones, consisting of two kings on the first floor, and a twin on the second floor. Get dinner sizzling on the charcoal BBQ in the enclosed patio while Fido scavenges for a spare sausage.

After exploring the myriad of eclectic boutiques and independent coffee nooks lining Whitstable’s high street, within 400 metres, head to the harbour and scope out the lobster shack for a hit of fresh seafood on the go, 200 metres. Venture to West Beach, 700 metres, for a good stretch of the legs and wave-chasing fun along the pebbly shoreline or enjoy a scenic scamper through the woods and spot the local wildlife at Blean Woods National Nature Reserve, 6 miles.

A great cottage so close to the sea, shops & harbour in Whitstable. Lovely sheltered garden and great pub down the road. The sweets are a fantastic touch and we really enjoyed our short stay here.

Beautiful little cottage in the perfect position for access to the sea and the shops and restaurants. Very clean and nicely decorated. Perhaps sensible to be aware of the extremely steep stairs.

Lovely house & the location is great, close to the High Street, restaurants, pubs & beach. We stayed for Christmas 2023, the High Street was beautifully lit & the house itself very warm & cosy. Lovely little holiday let, well equipped and cosy. Lovely welcome pack, much appreciated. Very close to all amenities. South Quay Shed in the harbour has a really nice vibe. Hathat's coffee and hot chocolate is the best. The Lobster Shack out on the beach worth a visit. Sale & Pepe a great place to eat, food was lovely and went twice. Grain &Read more Hearth a lovely place for breakfast. The gem of Whitstable has to be Porto's wine bar, so friendly and helpful with the wine list. Snacking platters are great, lovely wine & port and such a nice atmosphere - would definitely recommend for a chilled evening. we love Whitstable and visit frequently but staying this week has been heaven. Long walks to Herne Bay and Seasalter along the beach a must. Hide
