A really great unique find, perfect peaceful location with dog walks straight from the garden or several beautiful beaches all within easy reach. The carriage is very well equipped and comfortable and we would definitely recommend.

Lovely old carriage in a very peaceful setting, would absolutely recommend. Worth noting that if you're staying during colder weather that the boiler can be noisy if it kicks in overnight- it's next to the bedroom. Also, I found the sofa a bit low and saggy, limiting seating options. That said, the bed is comfortable, the dawn chorus is lovely,Read more and there are walks from the door! Lovely week Hide

Absolutely lovely Railway Carriage, very quirky. It was clean , cosy and very well equipped. The paddock in which it was set was great for the two dogs to run around in . Owner very friendly and helpful. Setting is extremely peaceful but so close to many great places to visit. Highly recommend

Due to the extreme lack of cleanliness I would not be able to recommend staying here and I certainly will not be returning.

The carriage was an absolute delight! We loved the period details and it was clean and comfortable. The surroundings were also beautiful and peaceful, with lovely walks from the door, a wood and paddock, which our dogs loved playing it. We hope to return sometime soon.

Cannot recommend this more highly, the most idyllic of settings and the carriage was just perfect with old fashioned charm and original features. Our stay was perfect, so much so weve booked for next year. Chris the owner was extremely helpful and available if needed. If looking for a takeaway, we strongly recommend the local Indian restaurant!

Lovely location ,very peaceful and pretty. Nice walks. But its not a secure site at all as dogs can get out and others peoples can get in under the fences. Beds lovely, fresh and comfy, shower nice and plenty of hot water .

The Railway Carriage is a great place to stay, loved all the fittings in keeping with its original use. We especially liked the art deco light fittings. It was comfortable inside with everything we needed for our stay. Very peaceful location with lots of wildlife to spot. The dogs really enjoyed the huge enclosed paddock to run around in (note Read moresmall dogs might need to be watched as they would get out under the fence bars). Also fabulous that there are off lead walks directly from the gate. Lots to do nearby, including sandy beaches that allow dogs all year which are just a short drive away. Added to our list of places to return to. Hide
