Escape to this family-friendly holiday home offering practical accommodation with a lovely outlook, oodles of space and style. This bright and airy property is in a quiet part of pretty Mortehoe and exudes calm with generous rooms, lofty ceilings and light flooding through the large windows. There’s no shortage of space to hang out together or even to take time out and, as such, it suits a multi-generational family group or friends. And one canine chum is on the guest list too, who will adore the cooling wooden floors and lawned garden, not to mention being just 0.2 miles from the nearest dog-friendly beach.

This three-bed apartment over three floors has its own private entrance, although it’s part of a larger period building. Benefiting from original features, there is also a lot of attention to detail and contemporary design touches throughout. The large lounge is a relaxing place with its high ceilings, big windows and rustic wooden floorboards and ornamental fireplace but plenty of sumptuous seating and a Smart TV for those creature comforts. The open-plan kitchen/diner is an impressive space with an oak dining table for eight in the large bay window, affording soothing sea views. The sleek minimalist kitchen also has a handy breakfast bar/island with four stools. Versatile sleeping quarters comprise one stylish king-size, one twin and one room with bunk beds. Outside, there’s a shared lawned garden but also a private, enclosed garden with furniture.

You’re within the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and also near the South West Coast Path so your four-legged pal will revel in all the walkies opportunities on hand. Sandy surfing havens abound with Woolacombe Beach (2 miles) and Grunta Beach (0.6 miles) within easy reach, but do check for seasonal dog restrictions.

The apartment was so lovely - very comfortable, spacious, well equipped and the views from the kitchen and lounge are gorgeous. It's in a great location in Mortehoe, where you can walk to two pubs, a tearoom, bistro, post office with lovely little shop, fish and chip shop and a homemade takeaway place (not open out of season). Great walks from theRead more apartment too. Would definitely recommend. Hide

Great location for being near to beaches (but not right on them), and great for walks with the dog. Very handy campsite shop 5 minutes walk away, and 2 good pubs and chippy nearby for the essential holiday fish and chips.

Striking, light and airy apartment with a lovely outlook and its nice that there is a private entrance to the apartment. We had a very comfortable stay and would happily return to The Pines.

Beautiful apartment in lovely Mortehoe. We had 3 issues which which we were going to email you about. One was flies. On wednesday, Thursday and Friday we came back each night to hundreds of ? Cluster flies in kitchen.. we think they came from chimney. We had to go out and buy fly spray which we left in sink under cupboard, but took along time to geRead moret rid of them and clean after them. 2. The hoover available to use was clogged and had to be taken apart to be able to use, and 3.. we were lucky enough not to have anyone upstairs until our last night.. the sound proofing is dreadful against little childrens feet. Just things we feel it is important for you to be aware of. Everything else fab :) Hide
