Discover puppy paradise for yourselves when you stay at this exceptional, group retreat in picturesque Studland on Dorset’s Isle of Purbeck. Sleeping 11 guests, the five-bedroom holiday home is set in generous lawned gardens where happy hounds can race about to their hearts’ content and which enjoys private access down to the magnificent, sandy beach, which is just as dog friendly.
Enter this homely abode to find accommodation to suit an extended family getaway or a celebration with friends who are eager to bring canine companions along too. Wander through to the lounge to play games, find movies to enjoy together and spend quality time with everyone, including your delighted dog. Feed hounds and humans through in the kitchen/diner or lay the table for special meals in the dining room. As night falls, head off to one of the two double bedrooms or the two twins to enjoy a good night’s sleep. The fifth bedroom has three 2’6” beds, which could be ideal for the younger members of your group. Soak up the scenery out in the large gardens as often as possible. Dine out here too and play fetch with your four-legged friend. There is parking here for two cars.
Picnic, swim and watch your waggy-tailed friend leave footprints on the sand whenever the weather is fine. Pick up the South West Coast Path and take him for long walks over the cliffs. Try the 5-mile stretch to Swanage if everyone is feeling energetic enough. Head inland to find footpaths and explore the verdant countryside of the splendid Isle of Purbeck. Venture 5.5 miles to the National Trust’s Corfe Castle, which also welcomes four-legged visitors. Have a day out to picture-postcard Lulworth Cove, 15.5 miles away, where pups can play freely at any time of year without restriction.
