Set in the idyllic seaside location of Saundersfoot, this charming property is a perfect base for friends, family and four-pawed pals to gather together for an adventure. Less than a mile away you’ll have access to the picturesque Pembrokeshire Coast Path where your dog can lead the way through the rugged, winding trails to some of the best viewpoints in the area.

Designed in an upside-down style to maximise on the far-reaching views from the first floor, you’ll find the lounge at the top of the spiral staircase. The space is filled with sumptuous leather sofas and two chairs, perfectly placed beside the window so that you and your pups can sit and sip tea whilst admiring the scenery, or step outside onto the balcony for a spot of fresh air. Up a couple of steps at the back of the room is the quaint kitchen and dining table where breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed. Take the stairs up to the second floor and you’ll find a twin bedroom benefitting from an en-suite shower room, and a cosy single bedroom with a bright window. Finally, on the ground floor is a twin bedroom furnished with two single beds with access to the patio, and a bathroom and a single bedroom to the front of the house..

A section of the pretty Saundersfoot Beach remains dog-friendly all year round ensuring that seaside activities with your canine are within easy reach, less than half a mile away. Further sandy stretches can be found at Trefin (1 mile) and in Tenby (4 miles) where your hounds can go mutts on the beach, sniffing out treasure or taking a swim. Further inland, National Trust’s Colby Woodland (6 miles) is a great place to visit with all ages.

We have stayed here 3 times over the last 3 years and loved it. If the property was not up for sale we would have booked it again next year.

The house is in the perfect location. Such a beautiful place. Seeing the sea lapping up to the back garden. But it's crying out for investment. Small things like new carpets (or clean them. So many stains) kitchen needs ripping out but you can live with it. Beds old spring mattresses. Struggling to sleep. I love this house but this review doesnRead more't read that way. Would I stay again Yes...would I recommend it..No. it just needs some money spent on what it charges for the week. Hide

Our stay was absolutely perfect you walk in it and it is spotless loved the staircase a lovely feature all the rooms are a very good size and lovely view of the sea

Perfect location, comfortable sofas, gorgeous reading area just off the lounge, spacious bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space, kitchen has lots of storage and so pleased we found a house on The Strand which accommodated our little dog. Despite being terraced we heard no noise at all from either side which was great. Superb views of the beach fromRead more the rear of the property, direct access to the beach which was very much appreciated. Location is second to none! However, the property is a bit tired with some windows needing attention, downstairs bathroom smelt strongly of damp and property not very clean when we arrived. Hide

An absolutely wonderful holiday home, everything is supplied and catered for, the views and location are impossible to beat and the house is well furnished spotlessly clean and pet friendly as well. We loved it so much we have booked it again for next year 2024. Thank you for giving us an amazing time.
