For a true taste of Northumberland life, head into Amble (500 metres) or explore the historic market place at Alnwick (9 miles), both home to independent shops, cafes and pubs. An impressive selection of mediaeval fortresses have guarded the Northumberland coast for centuries and the grounds of Warkworth (2 miles) and Dunstanburgh (13 miles) castles both welcome four-legged visitors. Dogs also have the run of numerous beaches across the Northumberland Coast, with Amble Links, Alnmouth and Druridge Bay all within 7.5 miles.

Couple of problems on arrival were dealt with promptly. We had to clean the hoover because it wasn't picking up and hadn't been emptied for some time. Anyone with small children need to be aware that window blinds chains have not been fitted to the wall and the balcony door doesn't shut. We chose this property for its location and we werent disappointed it had lovely views of the harbour and it was close to the shops and dog friendly pubs and cafes. Amble itself is very friendly and welcoming.

Fabulous location and views. Harbour and shop less than 5 minutes walk.Plenty of space and equipment for 8 people. Sunny bench on the front and friendly neighbours. Sasha is a great host and personally came and checked we were happy with everything. Many happy memories!!

Cottage had everything we needed for a three generational holiday. Three showers which was great for getting ready in the morning. Ideal location with lots to do nearby. Friendly neighbours!

We had a a fantastic week in Amble. The cottage is spacious, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The view from the back of the house is amazing - some great sunsets over Warkworth Castle. The house is in a great location within Amble - walking distance to the main high street and harbour. I would highly recommend Marina View to others.
