Set in the small seaside town of Nefyn, this quaint and quirky cottage makes a lovely, homely base for a couple or small family – and their faithful four-legged companion. With a sweeping sandy bay nearby and miles of gorgeous countryside all around, this delightful property is perfectly placed for exploring the landscapes, towns and attractions of the Llyn Peninsula.
Thoughtfully designed to make the most of the space, this two-bedroom cottage is laid out over three floors, though the top bedroom is only suitable for smaller children owning to the limited headroom and access via the double bedroom. As you enter the cottage, there’s a convenient area for removing sandy shoes and wiping down wet paws before sinking into the comfortable sofas to relax after walkies, your canine companion curled up beside you. Rustle up supper in the compact shaker-style kitchen, and dine at the corner table in the lounge. The double bedroom on the first floor is open plan with one flight of stairs coming up from the ground floor and a second set leading to the twin room in the attic, while the family bathroom is conveniently located on the middle floor. The cottage has a small patio to the front.
It''s only 0.5 miles to the beautiful sandy beach of Nefyn, which is dog-friendly all year round on its eastern flank. Keen walkers and their beloved hound can pick up sections of the Llyn Coastal Path in both directions from the village. The picture-perfect fishing village of Porthdinllaen (2 miles) is a popular dog-walking spot with stunning views and some amazing wildlife to spot.
