This sophisticated three-storey townhouse in the heart of Southwold offers you and your four-legged friend an idyllic coastal retreat. In the immediate area, explore an array of pet-friendly shops, cafes and delis, all just a whisker away at 100 metres, then take a slightly longer stroll past the colourful beach huts and along to the pier (0.5 miles). With space for up to eight humans and one dog, this excellently presented home is perfect for families, or groups of friends and their children.

Inside, the property’s interior is bathed in natural light, while tasteful decor coastal-themed artwork adorns the walls. After a long day of beach frolics, allow your dog to curl up by your feet in the cosy living area as you all enjoy a film, warmed by the glow of the wood burner-effect electric heater. The sleek shaker-inspired kitchen is perfect for preparing doggie meals and sumptuous dinners for the humans, to be enjoyed in the adjoining dining space, complete with Velux skylights. French doors open onto a serene patio – a quiet spot for morning coffee and doggie breakfasts. The exterior offers a green haven where you can relax and let your dog and children roam free – it’s securely fenced to ensure peace of mind.

In the mood for a drink? Seek out the nearby traditional dog-friendly pub (350m) for a quiet moment with your pet at your feet. While Southwold’s main beach does have some dog restrictions in place, on the more remote the Denes Beach (0.5 miles) your faithful companion can run free as a kite. The second time we have stayed here and it suits us very well, a great location, not a busy street and easy access to the town and the harbour. Well equipped The stairs are steep and steps upstairs too, not a problem if the guests are mobile, but should perhaps be emphasised.

Had a lovely stay in this very comfortable home and we appreciated the welcome pack. We were a family of six plus baby and dog and found that the house provided ample room to accommodate us all. The stairs are quite steep, the beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. We also appreciated the addition of fans as it was quite hot when Read morewere there. We didn't use the garage as we had roof racks on both cars and they wouldn't fit through the door but we did park near the garage door to unload. We didn't have any trouble finding a parking space along the green. We would recommend this house as it's in a great location near to shops etc. We walked to the harbour and onwards over the bridge to Walberswick. We visited the East Anglia Transport Museum which was quite a surreal experience travelling on a buses amd trams to nowhere Hide

Had a lovely stay (mums 80th Birthday). Well equipped, clean and with plenty of parking nearby. Pretty enclosed court yard garden. The stairs to upstairs are steep if you have mobility issues. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

The cottage is in a great location. The kitchen was well done and very well equipped with plenty of plates, mugs etc. The beds were comfortable with good quality bedding. Sadly the house is let down by low quality furniture in the living room. The garden was lovely and well looked after.
