Delight in a stay at this charming North Elmham cottage and let Fido enjoy his North Norfolk break as much as you do. Sleeping four guests, this characterful, two-bedroom abode makes a perfect retreat for both you and your four-legged friend. Return from exhilarating country walks and summer days on the beach to unwind in the sunny garden, while your happy hound plays on the lawn. Spend winter evenings relaxing together in front of a roaring wood burner.
Open the front door to this exquisite, red-brick hideaway and call Fido inside to make himself immediately at home. With its beamed ceilings and Norfolk Pamment floors, the holiday home feels immediately welcoming. Let your furry friend settle on the soft rug while you find a film on TV and light the wood burner. Make your way through the low door into the airy kitchen/diner later on to feed Fido and your family and friends. There is a handy washing machine in here for dog blankets and towels. Pat Fido goodnight at the end of the day then climb the steep, narrow, cottage-style stairs up to the first floor, where two comfortable double bedrooms are situated. There is a family bathroom at the cottage. Toss a ball for Fido out in the lawned garden and dine out here too on warm days. There is dedicated parking for one car at the property.
Head off on country walks with your furry friend from the doorstep. Have an afternoon out in the grounds of the National Trust’s splendid Jacobean stately home, Blickling Hall, where you and Fido can wander 4,600 acres of woodland, parkland and farmland, surrounded by scenic River Bure meadows. Have a day out to the seaside, perhaps trying Salthouse, 18 miles away, which is dog-friendly all year round.
