Get tails wagging with a stay in this fabulous farm cottage on the Pembrokeshire coast. With the dog-friendly beach of Trefil just half a mile away, you can immerse yourself in life by the sea, with wonderful walkies and the fresh sea air right on your doorstep. The cottage itself is bursting with charm, with exposed beams across the ceilings and quirks throughout which make it a holiday home to remember.
Step into the lounge and get ready to relax. Two leather sofas offer seating for humans, while a rug in front of the wood burner is a perfect spot for your canines to sprawl out and bathe in the warming glow while you watch TV. Completing the open-plan living space is a compact kitchen area which has been cleverly designed to make the most of the space, as well as an industrial-style dining table for mealtimes. Head upstairs via the spiral staircase and you’ll find two cosy bedrooms, the first of which is a double room with a sloping ceiling and a velvet accent chair. The second is a twin room with low eaves, so best suited to children. The bathroom features a comfortable corner bath which is an idyllic place to relax after a long day of exploration. Outside, you’ll have access to your own private paved area, as well as a shared garden and 13 acres of land where your pup can sniff around to their heart’s content.
The iconic Pembrokeshire Coast Path can be accessed within half a mile of your holiday home, providing endless days of adventures through rugged scenery. Take a stroll to Porthgain Harbour Beach (2 miles) where dogs are welcomed all year around to paddle and play, or visit Abereiddy Beach (3 miles) to see the turquoise waters of the Blue Lagoon. To enjoy a slower pace of life with your hounds by your side, head to Britain’s smallest city, St Davids, (7 miles) to peruse the pretty architecture and pick up some tasty treats from the independent shops and cafes.
