Bring your favourite human and your four-pawed pal away for a memorable stay on the Pembrokeshire coast. Set off on a tail-wagging adventure each day along the coastal path to explore the rugged beauty of the area. Back at your holiday home, the charm of the converted barn will help you to rest and recoup in style.
Bursting with character, the open-plan living space is the perfect place to spend time with your loved ones beneath the original beams. Sprawl out across one of the two leather sofas, or the armchair to watch a film, head into the kitchen to fix up a feast, or sit up by the vast window to tuck into a meal together. A steel and wood staircase leads up to the mezzanine floor which features matching natural wood furniture, a double bed, vaulted ceilings, and a pretty skylight adding to the brightness of the room. In addition, the room enjoys an en-suite bathroom where you can sink into a hot bath after a long day out walking. To the side of the property is a bench where you can dine alfresco and soak up the views, whilst a shared garden with a lawn offers a great spot for pups to run and play.
The nearest village is Trefin, a lovely place packed with history and picturesque spots. Here, you can let your dog lead the way for walkies on the rock and pebble beach or dine out at the local pub with a hearty meal. St Davids (9 miles) is a must-visit as Britain’s tiniest city with plenty to see, from the medieval cathedral to the quaint independents and eateries that add to its charm. Have a ball at Abereiddy Beach (3 miles), which is littered with unusual dark sand making the colour of the water pop, particularly in the harbour named ‘Blue Lagoon’.
