Make yourself at home in this characterful and charming coastal cottage which is hidden away down a narrow path just moments from the bustling harbour. After spending the daytime discovering the nearby nature reserves and playing fetch with your canine companion on the surrounding beaches, head back to this 18th-century cottage which has been lovingly decorated where you can warm cold paws and feet in front of the wood burner.

Climb the steps to reach the front door. Inside the cosy living room with a plump sofa and two chairs is a stone fireplace with a wood burner and beams across the ceiling. The kitchen/diner has farmhouse-style units and a wooden table and chairs. There is also a utility cupboard and bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor is a bathroom and two bedrooms – a super-king-size and a single. Climb another set of stairs to reach the third bedroom with a double bed. Outside is a sun-trap terrace.

Located in the heart of Fowey, just metres away from the busy harbour, this property benefits from being hidden away on its own quiet street, while still being surorunded by all of the boutiques, dog-friendly restaurants and cafes (within 0.5 miles). Head to the canine-freindly Coombe Haven beach (1.5 miles) or Polridmouth Beach (2 miles) for a swim in the sea or a run along the sand. If you want to head out out for a long dog walk, follow the South West Coast Path (1 mile) which will offer fantastic sea views and an abundance of wildlife. There is also a nature reserve just across the river (1 mile), which you can get to by ferry.

  • 3 bedrooms – 1 super-king-size which can be made up as a twin on request, 1 small double bed (4') suitable for 1 guest, 1 single,
  • 2 bathrooms – 1 bathroom with shower over the bath and WC, 1 shower room with shower and WC
  • Electric oven and gas hob, fridge, dishwasher, Magimix coffee machine
  • Freezer, washer/dryer, microwave in utility cupboard
  • Wood burner
  • TV with Firestick, Bluetooth speaker, TV in small double bedroom
  • Please bring your own beach towels
  • Mobile signal is variable
  • No private parking – public parking available

  • Shop and pub within 200 metres
  • Whilst this cottage has two double rooms it is only suitable for a maximum of four people due to the limited shared living spaces
  • Please note steep stairs lead up to the bedroom on the second floor which has restricted head height
  • The double bedroom may be unsuitable for young children
  • This property will be decorated for Christmas
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 09:00
  • 1 dog allowed. Additional charges may apply

A lovely cottage in an excellent location, a stone's throw from the local shops and cafe's. The cottage was well equipped, clean and tidy and felt like a real home away from home. I'd recommend the accommodation to anyone looking to visit Fowey.

Really lovely cottage, clean & comfy. Steps to garden area are not the easiest to use. Certainly not for a dog to climb.

An excellent location! Really in the centre of everything! Would definitely recommend, but not for very young children. Dropping the luggage off without parking at the premises is not the end of the world to be staying in such a central location!

The beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms was a bonus. However, the count yard is not really suitable for dogs, would suggest covering the gaps on the metal steps.

Great location, a lovely cottage that was very clean and comfortable, all the beds were comfortable and we all slept really well (despite the noisy seagulls!!). Neighbours very pleasant. Outdoor space is good for families (but steps to the patio are steep so be careful if very young, elderly or for dogs)
