Make yourself at home in this characterful and charming coastal cottage which is hidden away down a narrow path just moments from the bustling harbour. After spending the daytime discovering the nearby nature reserves and playing fetch with your canine companion on the surrounding beaches, head back to this 18th-century cottage which has been lovingly decorated where you can warm cold paws and feet in front of the wood burner.
Climb the steps to reach the front door. Inside the cosy living room with a plump sofa and two chairs is a stone fireplace with a wood burner and beams across the ceiling. The kitchen/diner has farmhouse-style units and a wooden table and chairs. There is also a utility cupboard and bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor is a bathroom and two bedrooms – a super-king-size and a single. Climb another set of stairs to reach the third bedroom with a double bed. Outside is a sun-trap terrace.
Located in the heart of Fowey, just metres away from the busy harbour, this property benefits from being hidden away on its own quiet street, while still being surorunded by all of the boutiques, dog-friendly restaurants and cafes (within 0.5 miles). Head to the canine-freindly Coombe Haven beach (1.5 miles) or Polridmouth Beach (2 miles) for a swim in the sea or a run along the sand. If you want to head out out for a long dog walk, follow the South West Coast Path (1 mile) which will offer fantastic sea views and an abundance of wildlife. There is also a nature reserve just across the river (1 mile), which you can get to by ferry.
