This family-friendly house is in a peaceful location which is ideally placed for Scarborough’s town centre and beaches, coastal walks, days out in the countryside and a variety of attractions. Thoughtfully decorated, the property has a calm and welcoming ambience and is set over three storeys. Plus, there is a safely enclosed garden for Fido, too.
On the ground floor, you will find the utility room (with laundry facilities) and a WC and then, heading upstairs, the open-plan living area. This has a lounge space with sofas and a Smart TV, leading through to a handsome dining area that overlooks the garden. The kitchen has plenty of cupboards and all the equipment you’ll need to cook tasty family suppers. Also on this floor is a small snug with bean bags – a great playroom for younger members of the party. The three bedrooms are on the top floor – a double with an en-suite shower room, a single, and a room with bunk beds for two, plus a sleek family bathroom. For dining or relaxing alfresco, the furnished patio is accessed via glazed doors from the dining area, leading up three steps to a lawn where your pup can sniff around, stretch his legs and chase his tail.
You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to days out in and around Scarborough, and after exploring the town, with its many dog-friendly venues, why not take your canine besties (on a lead) to the impressive ruins of Scarborough Castle, a great place for a walk and a picnic with fabulous views? Stroll through the Oriental-themed Peasholm Park, where you and your furry companion can hire a boat to go out on the lake, or ride on the narrow-gauge North Bay Heritage Railway, one of the town’s top attractions – where mutts travel free. This property takes two dogs.
