The beach is almost a mile long, so pack a ball and a picnic and enjoy a perfect day out. A lovely walk for all the family takes you from Helston (15 miles) to the Penrose Estate - 4 miles out and back. The route is mostly on a flat path suitable for buggies, and your four-legged friend can sniff out plenty of adventures in the marshy woodland and will no doubt find the small stream to splash in. For something a little different, visit the Cornish Sealife Sanctuary in Gweek (20 miles) where you can learn about seals and your canine companion can lead you on a woodland walk.
