This two-bedroom apartment in lovely Woolacombe is bound to set tails wagging as it’s in a dream location, with the beach, shops and bars all within 150 metres. Ideal for a couple, small family plus two furry friends, this second-floor flat offers wonderful country and coastal views plus chic open-plan living accommodation that works really well and looks great. As any top dog will tell you, the best feeling in the world is being able to let your canine chums off the lead on a beach without the hassle of cars and parking, so the fact that two beaches – Woolacombe and Barricane – are within easy walking distance is good news.

An external staircase takes you up to this well-equipped apartment. The open-plan, double-aspect lounge/kitchen/diner has a contemporary feel, with a sleek kitchen in one corner, a round dining table for four in another and then sumptuous sofa seating near a Smart TV. The wood-finish flooring works well with potentially damp paws! Two stylish bedrooms comprise one double and one twin that have individual touches with a trendy, unfussy vibe ideal for a good night’s sleep. They share a slick bathroom. There’s no outdoor space here but you have the use of a garage for storing wetsuits, bikes or surfboards and the beach is within 150 metres.

Get a new leash of life as you head out exploring both the magical beaches and the beautiful countryside inland, part of the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are lots of beaches nearby but do check for seasonal dog restrictions. Woolacombe and Barricane both allow canine chums somewhere on the beach year-round. Discover the village centre (150 metres) with shops, galleries, eateries and gifts. Lead the way to adventure by trying out surfing, windsurfing or paddleboarding while you’re here.

Lovely apartment - spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Perfect location (couldn't be any closer to the beach / shops / bars). Love Woolacombe and this holiday was nigh on faultless - couldn't be happier (except for having to come home!).
