Located on a leafy residential road in the heart of Scarborough, this family-friendly property provides a comfortable and welcoming base for exploring the beaches, attractions and sites of this popular seaside town. Accommodating up to five people and one beloved hound, this spacious holiday home boasts three bedrooms, plenty of cosy living areas, a small courtyard garden, and two convenient private parking spaces.
Kick off sandy shoes and rub down damp dogs before stepping through to the lounge. You’ll love returning to this snug room at the end of a day’s activities with its large bay window, colourful artwork, and wood burner, which is sure to delight your worn-out pup. Prepare delicious home-cooked meals in the compact yet modern kitchen, then gather the pack around the dining table to share stories about the day’s adventures over a meal. Enjoy an evening drink in the courtyard garden while your canine companion stretches its legs before bed, then retire to the three attractive bedrooms on the first floor for a rejuvenating night’s sleep.
Known as the ‘Queen of the Yorkshire Coast’, Scarborough is a great base for a dog-friendly coastal escape. Located around 0.5 miles from the property, let Fido lead the way to Scarborough Castle, which welcomes dogs on leads to amble around the ruins, sniffing for bunnies while their owners admire the views. Alternatively go in the opposite direction to Peasholm Park, or head to the beach. While both of Scarborough’s beaches have seasonal no-dog zones, there’s still ample space for zoomies on the sands. If you fancy escaping the city, Raincliffe Woods (4 miles) is doggy heaven, you can pick up parts of the long-distance Cleveland Way, or hop on the North Bay Heritage Railway where dogs get a free ride.
