After adventuring around your surroundings, wash muddy pups in the ground-floor shower room before leading the way upstairs to be welcomed into the light and bright open-plan interior. Put your feet up on the pouffe in the comfortable lounge area with its cosy couch as your top dog basks beside you in the sunny spots below the large dormer window. Leave Rover to doze as you get creative in the compact yet well-equipped kitchen and enjoy dining romantically around the dining table with views over the rooftops as your backdrop. As day turns to night, tuck your four-legged friend into their special blanket next to the double bed at the rear of the space, before hunkering down to dream of tomorrow’s adventure. Exercise your playful pup in your private section of the owner’s garden and put your feet up on the wooden bench to soak up your wonderful surroundings.

The apartment was very comfortable and cozy and suited our needs perfectly. We used as a base for walking the coastal path. The apartment was very clean and well equipped and the hosts Susan and Stephen were very helpful and the welcome pack was great too. Kirton is a very friendly village with a lovely pub. We went in twice for drinks and food. FiRead moresh & chip van on Saturday night was also enjoyed. If you want somewhere relaxing to stay then this is the place for you. Hide

This is a lovely space for one or two people with the main living area, king-size bed and small kitchen area located on the upper floor while the bathroom with a magnificent shower was located on the ground floor along with a utility room for the washing machine and hanging space for drying clothes or hanging freshly ironed shirts and tops. The uppRead moreer floor contains 4 moderately spacious cupboards where you can store folded clothes, and the amount of light in the room via the large main window and two side-windows was excellent. There is a helpful vestibule as you enter the property where dogs can eat and drink and one can disrobe if the going gets muddy. This did not apply during my visit as the two weeks I spent in Suffolk were probably the two best weeks in terms of weather that we will get in the whole of 2025. The owners of the property were very kind and visitors have the use of the front garden should they find the time. In my case, I was too busy exploring and visiting old haunts. Had I not already spent two weeks in Suffolk, I would very happily have stayed another week if I could. I would go back without hesitation, and having looked at house prices have an alternative to West Sussex as a retirement destination. The scenery is very different in both so choosing would be difficult, but I think you will get more for your money in Suffolk. Hide
