This wow-factor detached townhouse, on the edge of Snowdonia/Eryri National Park, offers spacious accommodation for a large group of fresh-air lovers. It’s in Bala, a historic market town with a strong and vibrant Welsh culture as well as outstanding scenery all around. The accommodation has an indulgent hot tub for soaking your limbs after satisfying days exploring the hills. It’s got room for up to nine guests over five bedrooms, and three of your canine chums are welcome to join in the fun.
The inside of this impressive three-storey building has been renovated to a high standard, with striking wooden ceiling beams and a cool grey colour scheme. You’ll do much of your socialising in the spacious, open-plan living area, which has ample room for humans and dogs to kick back in plus dual-aspect windows letting plenty of light in. There’s a TV with Netflix, a huge corner sofa for chilling out, and a ten-seater dining table for those big group meals. The roomy, modern and well-equipped kitchen is great for cooking dinners and preparing packed lunches for days out in nature. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the second and third floors. Outside, the small, enclosed garden has a hot tub, plus a storage area for bikes.
You’ll have shops and a dog-welcoming pub all within 300 metres from the property. As you’d expect from a national park setting, there are miles of footpaths and bridleways you can access from your front door. You could embark on a circular route around Bala Lake (0.5 miles) or take the dogs up to Aberhirnant (3.5 miles) to sniff out the scenic wooded paths of this national forest (a sure-fire pet pleaser).
