Explore the picturesque South Norfolk countryside with your faithful friend then return home to this charming retreat to relax together afterwards. With a beautiful lawned garden to make soft ears prick up in the summertime and an open fire to warm chilly paws in winter, this is very much a canine-friendly cottage for all seasons. Sleeping five guests, the three-bedroom former Post Office nestles in the village of Shotesham, 8 miles from the centre of Norwich and 5.5 miles from the Norfolk Broads.
Step into this gorgeous abode, with its exposed timbers and brickwork, to find yourselves in a welcoming lounge. Let your pal stretch out while you lay a fire and find a good film on TV. The farmhouse-style kitchen/diner has ample space for your four-legged friend to have his dinner and bed down in his basket for the night. Take a cup of tea through to the garden room to have a little quiet time with your contented canine as you gaze out over the greenery. There is also a family bathroom downstairs. Pat your pal goodnight in the kitchen and then make your way up to one of the two double bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room, or the single. Find a washing machine and tumble dryer in the garage for rinsing through damp dog towels. Spend sunny days out in the garden, cooking on the BBQ and sitting around the fire pit, with your delighted dog joining in the fun. Guests can park in the church car park opposite.
Venture 1.5 miles from the cottage to let your chum run free in the 2-acre field at Shotesham Paw Park. Pick up the Boudicca Way outside the village and tire out furry feet with a scenic walk in the direction of Diss or Norwich.
